35 Acres of Discovery and Imagination

At the heart of our beautiful 35-acre estate, our youngest children learn in stimulating classrooms and exceptional outdoor environments.Woodland walks, outdoor learning spaces and seasonal exploration encourage discovery, imagination and creativity, while specialist facilities including the Performing Arts Centre, swimming pool, sports hall, dance studio and library enrich every child’s experience from the very beginning.

Learning in EYFS is shaped through purposeful play, active exploration and creative thinking. Children are encouraged to ask questions, investigate the world around them and develop confidence through carefully planned experiences that nurture early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

The 7Cs: Building Character from the Start

The Castle Court 7Cs — curiosity, collaboration, creativity, courage, compassion, commitment and courtesy — are woven naturally into daily life. Children learn to share, take turns, solve problems together and develop resilience through supported reflection and independent discovery.

The foundations of the Prep School Baccalaureate (PSB) are introduced from the very start of a child’s journey. Through collaborative play, problem-solving activities and guided reflection, children begin developing the essential skills that underpin future learning: teamwork, independence, perseverance and self-awareness.

Specialist Teaching and Nurturing Care

Specialist teaching in sport, swimming, music and dance ensures children develop physical confidence and creativity alongside strong academic foundations. Forest School sessions, educational visits and memorable experiences — from planting seeds and exploring minibeasts to puddle-splashing adventures and snowy woodland walks — bring learning vividly to life.

Pastoral care lies at the heart of EYFS. Strong relationships between staff, children and families create a warm and secure environment where children feel safe, valued and confident to try new things. By the end of Reception, children leave as happy, confident learners with strong academic and personal foundations, ready and excited for the next stage of their journey.
