School History

Inspiring the leaders, thinkers and creators of tomorrow for generations to come.

A Proud Heritage, A Forward-Thinking Future

For generations, Castle Court has combined a proud heritage with a forward-thinking spirit. Founded in 1948 by the visionary Mr and Mrs Donald Scott, and originally based in Parkstone, the school was built on strong Christian foundations and a clear commitment to giving every child the very best start in life.

Among the first schools in the area to become fully co-educational and to establish both a Pre-Prep and Nursery, Castle Court has always looked ahead, evolving to meet the needs of its pupils while staying true to its core values.

Since moving to our beautiful 35-acre site in the early 1970s, we have nurtured generations of young people – proudly known as Castellans – developing confidence, character and curiosity at every stage of their journey. Today, as we welcome second and third-generation families, our community continues to grow, bound by a shared experience and a common set of values. A Castle Court education offers more than a start in life; it creates a lifelong network, connecting pupils past and present through a strong and enduring sense of belonging

We believe that being a Castellan does not end on your last day at Castle Court. It stays with you for life. Keeping in touch with our alumni matters deeply to us – not just to celebrate achievements, but to preserve the friendships, values and sense of belonging that make Castle Court what it is.
