Tim is now retired after a long career at Monkton Senior School, near Bath. For many years he was a houseparent, and for even longer he was Deputy Head; he taught Latin, Maths and several other subjects over the years. Married with several children and grandchildren, Tim has long experience as a governor of a primary school and is involved with several charities in the Bath area, including serving as Chair of Trustees for a charity supporting those living with dementia. He keeps up with GCSE and A level marking each summer, and appreciates the academic rigour needed for the role. Finally Tim is particularly glad to be a tour guide and welcomer at the Roman Baths.
