Following an academic background in Business and Marketing, Ian worked for a number of major food groups in sales and marketing prior to setting up a property development company in 2000, specialising in the design and construction of high-end homes in sought-after rural locations. In 2003, Ian and his wife moved to Poole and their two daughters attended Castle Court for 9 years until July 2023. He joined the board in early 2018 and for most of the time has been our Chair of Finance and Vice Chair. Ian took on the role of Interim Chairman in February 2024. Outside of work, Ian loves sailing, cycling, travel and watching the occasional football match. He is also active in organising men’s social events at SML Church in Poole.
