Hockey has gone from strength to strength since the opening of our pitch on the old Deer Park. Six members of staff (one an EH Level 2 coach) and a number of fanatical gap-year students, pass on good instruction.

With pupils starting to learn the correct skills as juniors on such a superb surface, performances further up the school have improved dramatically.

In the last four years we have had great County success. We have been U11 County runners-up twice in three years and U13 County champions for the last two seasons (a Tournament we organise and stage here at Castle Court). In 2006, the 1st VII went on to become U13 IAPS National Champions and the 2007 season saw both the Boys U13 and Girls U11 team crowned County Champions.

Both the senior Boys and Girls teams are able to enjoy hockey tours. The 1st XI enjoy a weekend Tour to Norfolk each Easter and in 2007 the Girls spent the Spring half-term on tour in Malta.
