Building bridges with towers.....
Members of Year 7 prepared for the challenge of being at the top of the school this week when they undertook the first instalment of their Prefects' Induction. This involved meeting and getting to know the current Year 2 who, as next year's Year 3, will be the youngest pupils that they as prefects will bump into around school on a daily basis. Both year groups met together over lunch break and played 'getting to know you' games and built towers out of newspaper as a teamwork challenge. It was lovely to see pupils from different years getting to know each other and having such a fun time. Hopefully the Year 2 pupils will now have a friendly face or two to greet them when they make the move up to Year 3 and the current Year 7 pupils will be on the look out for their new friends in September.
