The school is divided into three stages, each stage forming a link in a carefully planned, continuously monitored and nurturing education for all our young people.

Every child is treated as an individual so that they can develop at the pace that is right for them.



Badgers and Reception

Badgers age 2½−4

Afternoon − Creativity and energy
Reception age 4−5
Core curriculum − Literacy, Numeracy
Curriculum additions − Art, Music, Religious Studies, Science, Technology, PE, Ballet, ICT

Pre-prep

Pre-Prep age 5−7
Core curriculum − Literacy, Numeracy
Curriculum additions − Art, Music, Religious Studies, History, Geography, Science, Technology, French, ICT, PE and Ballet.

Prep School

Age 7−13
Core curriculum − Curriculum – (all taught by specialist subject teachers from age 8 ) English, Maths, Science, French, Latin (in sets from 9), History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, Design, Technology, Music, ICT, Speech & Drama, PE and Sport
Extra Curricular − Activities and Trips

Learning Support

For some children to do the best they can, a little extra support is sometimes needed. Our three special skills teachers deliver individual programmes for pupils with specific learning difficulties − those who just need a bit of individual encouragement − generally on a one−to−one basis.
