Race for Life

Year 8 Sports Scholar Elsa took part in the Poole Race for Life, and won her race in a time just below 20 minutes.  Congratulations to her, and congratulations to everyone else who ran in support of this fabulous charity.

Senior Wessex Athletics – best results to date!

 

Our senior athletes were in action on Wednesday 11th June at the Senior Wessex meet held at King’s Park, and produced some fantastic results.  Castle Court will be competing in 11 events at the national finals later this summer.

Music Results

The music school continues to produce fabulous results!  The results for those who took their exams at the beginning of term have just arrived.  With over 20 children taking exams for the piano, clarinet, oboe, flute, guitar, cello, violin, euphonium, trumpet, alto saxophone as well as singing most sections of the orchestra were covered!  Exams were taken in all grades from Grade 1 to Grade 5, and 2 distinctions and 12 Merits were achieved.  Congratulations to you all.

Holiday Course Summer 2014 – Book Now!

The holiday course details for Summer 2014 have just been announced.  There are some great programmes for children from aged 2 to 13.  The “Little Kids” will have a range of activities to join in,  based around the themes of camps, crafts and crazy fun, or wild west adventures.  The “Big Kids” have the chance to spend a couple of days doing multi-sports, but being instructed in German or French (no prior knowledge of the languages needed), as well as lego robotics, cooking, coast-steering to name but a few.  If you would like to find out more please email Mr Welch on swelch@castlecourt.com.
