Rugby Training at Bryanston

The first full Wednesday of rugby training saw the Year 7 and 8 boys going to Bryanston for an afternoon of top level rugby coaching.  The coaching staff from Bryanston, who are all experienced international level coaches, spent the afternoon helping the boys refine their ball handling skills.  This week has seen the first match of the season, which  was a good win for the first team, with many of the team’s new skills being used to full advantage.

Owl Cushions

During the summer holiday the Textile Group entered their Owl Cushions into the Dorset Arts and Crafts Association annual exhibition, held at Bovington Middle School.  Eleven owls were submitted as a group entry and received the Association Award, Group Artwork.

On Sunday 5th August two members of the Textile Group, Amelia and James joined Mrs Sims to receive the award.

After this recognition the group are now about to start another year with sights set on possible future entries into next year’s exhibition.
